Process Blog - User Testing

The basic idea of my user testing is to show the concept and flow of my design in virtual environment and see if user find it difficult to understand or very confusing. I showed a few screenshot of my rough prototypes to my user testing group to explain the scenes and different stages in my design and everyone has no issue in understanding it. Instead, people start become curious and questioning about the data privacy part. How can the platform ensures the data is private and what kind of data should be classified as private are two main questions been addressed by my audiences. Then I feel I didn't have much knowledge around this topic. So I read and watched some papers and talks around decentralized technology such as blockchain, surveillance capitalism, the economics of personal data and the economics of privacy to get a better understanding around the issue.
