Prompt 1: Five Goals
The first prompt focuses on your goals for MFADT. Prepare a list of three to five goals for your time in the program. For each, provide a brief explanation of why this goal is important to you, and how you plan to pursue it through your courses, side projects, and otherwise during the next two academic years.
Goal 1: Learn design concept and principles from different professors, lecturers and peers through different practice.
Explanation: I am from an information system background, one of the most important reasons I choose to come to this program is because I want to learn more about design and how different people
Interpret design and embed their thinking in different creative domains.
Goal 2: Explore various aspects in creative technology and try to master in one or two of them.
Explanation: technology is one of the essential tools for achieving the creative ideas, it would be important for me to feel comfortable using some of them and not feel handicapped to express my ideas due to the lack of technical knowledge.
Goal 3: Not limit myself to something I am already familiar with, step out the comfort zone and try new things
Explanation: I want to choose the courses that are more project and hands-on focus, so I can practice and learn the concepts and theory through trial and error.
Goal 4: Get to know everyone in the program and go outside the community to know more people in other creative domains as well
Explanation: Everyone in this program comes from different backgrounds. It would be a great chance to know more people and learn from each other in different projects.
Goal 5: Participate as much as workshops, competitions that are related to this field.
Explanation: I believe learning should not only limit to the courses and classes. By participating in workshops and competitions, I could gain more knowledge and challenge myself more.
