CC Lec 09: Failure Report

With your Final Project 7-in-7 now complete, assess your prototypes with an eye to moving your Final Project forward. Select the two or three prototypes you think were the least successful. Analyze each based on the goal(s) you set for it:

My prototypes in 7 in 7 are more focus on storyboard and technology aspect. I tried to demonstrate my ideas through AR but realize that AR may not be the optimal tool for me. As I want to build a more private and immersive online social media platform concept, the usual interaction with AR is more camera and location based, which doesn't quite fit in with the idea I initially thought about. Another area I think I should try more is to test different forms of design. My 7 in 7 design is only focused on one concept with multiple aspects, I feel I could use it to explore more variety of forms before going too deep into one concept. For my final, I think I will need more user testing rather than making assumption about many things.
