Prompt 3: Defining Creative Intentions
Observation is crucial for creative practitioner. I perceive the life as a journey to notice the unnoticed things. Many of the time, I find that people are too busy to walk the life away focusing on the goals without stopping a moment to understand and enjoy the surroundings. Sometimes we could walk on the same routes thousand times without knowing there is a beautiful flower shop just at the opposite side of the street we walk by everyday. As a designer and creative practitioner:
I want my works to be expressive enough to engage people and reflect on themselves;
I want my works to be thought-provoking enough to reconceive the choices, behaviors, relationships, feelings and emotions;
I want my works to be encouraging enough to help people discover who they are, build the trust and love with the surroundings and explore their uncopiable paths
At this point, I am not to limiting myself to any specific form of practice, but I want my intentions to be my fundamental guidelines as part of my creation process.
